The fjord at Fredvang. Hi Fred.       The old highway.       Don't eat these.
norwy_034 norwy_035 norwy_036
Baaaak.... go baaaaaak.       The road less traveled.       Sphagnum moss. Thought this might make a nice desktop.

People who live in grass houses... Oh shut up.       Very pleasant walk down the old road.       Never did get the real story on why the town was named thus.

Welcome to A. Population 110.       Heh, heh, heh, got you mack.       A young coalfish. They make fish fingers from the big ones.

This fish jumped out of the water and attacked my lure.       Elin lounges in the bow. That is the town of A behind her.       Pretty amped to catch what turned out to be a ling. Great eating.
norwy_046 norwy_047 norwy_048
A good afternoon. A ling, a cod, a mackerel and four coal fish. Looks like fishburgers for a couple of days.       Mr Ling the long way.       Holy mackerel.

In inlet on the trail from Nusfjord to Nesland.       View from the top.       Up she comes. Quite a climb.

Rest stop Lofoten style.       On the road to Nusfjord.       On the road to Nusfjord.

A well located rurbua in Nusfjord.       The scenery around Nusfjord. This ancient town is a UNESCO heritage site.       A fair-sized codfish. Note how a trick of the light distorts my waistline.

A cod boat returning from the Maelstrom at sunset. A sport fisherman tries his luck in deeper waters.       Glad I bought the gaff. These guys are chubby.       The sun sets behind the mountain that backdrops A.
